a Holly Jolly Christmas!
Winter Magic is
HERE! Just in time for the holidays.
I
suppose I should start by introducing myself. For those that don’t know me, my
name is T.M. Witko. I am a licensed clinical psychologist, a full-time
writer/editor and one of the co-founders of Winyan Press, LLC, an independent
publishing house geared at helping female writers find their voice
. When I first started writing I thought
that I had to pick one particular style and write just in that style but then I
met several writers that were considered multi-genre authors and realized that
I could do all the things I enjoyed. Thus, I consider myself a multi-genre
author who writes Young Adult & New Adult Fiction,
Crime/Suspense/Thrillers, Adult Romance, and Native American Fiction.
Okay, now let’s
get down to the nitty gritty of this particular story! Have you ever planned
something? I mean seriously planned something right down to the letter?
Imagined all possible outcomes, and then, BANG! Nothing goes as planned. Yep,
that’s what happens to our poor Javier. It is one mishap after the next in this
sweet romantic comedy that tells the story of Javier and Bernice and a proposal
gone awry.
The idea for
this story came about when I was watching Holiday Baking Championship. I love
that show so much. Anyway, I had been thinking about doing a series of short
love stories that centered on the seasons. Naturally, since it was the
holidays, I started to wonder about where I might put my couple for the winter
tale. New York and Paris were my first choices, and then I realized I had
already done the whole Christmas in New York for another couple of mine, Helios
and Madison. So, Paris it was. I told my daughter I wanted to make it funny, so
we started brainstorming about what we could put this poor guy through. The result
was Winter Magic, which I hope you enjoy.
Winter Magic is the first book I’ll be publishing in my series, Seasons
of Love.
